The following is the acceptance speech given by CiesaDesign Creative Director Chris VanWyck:

First of all, thank you to ArtServe Michigan and fellow honorees Macy's East and Oakwood Health Care Systems for all you do to champion arts and culture in our communities.

This award is a great honor for our studio and I would like to thank all of those who, for more than two decades, have stood selflessly by our sides investing time, money and passion towards creating and sustaining a vital arts and cultural community. This award belongs to all of you.

Thank you to all of the arts organizations and their volunteers who do the extraordinary, year after year, with less than extraordinary resources... we are blessed to have a community that is never wanting for arts and culture.

Big thanks to Lauren Ciesa for fostering a corporate culture of social responsibility and community involvement that now spans nearly three generations of employees. To all CiesaDesign staff who invest daily in their Greater Lansing community, both within the studio and beyond its walls.

Thank you to our corporate partners MacKellar Screenworks, Logan Brothers Printing, Infinity Graphics and others who take our creative concepts and make them a reality through their generous donation of time and materials.

Last but certainly not least, we are thankful for all of the Greater Lansing municipalities and organizations who recognize that vibrant arts and culture are key to the economic development and stability of our community. Your support and resources continue to sustain these community efforts.
